Electric Eels esta integrada por Hwang Ingyeong (vocalista, guitarrista), Kim Yeseul (guitarrista), Kim Minhyeok (baterista) y Yeji (bajista). La banda se formó en 2009 pero debutaron a principios del 2011 con el álbum "Charging", seguido por "Trendy", "The Best Date" y "I Think Of You".

Sus canciones son simples y divertidas, en vez de ser tan solemne o cargado de tantos sonidos. Aunque en su último álbum, tienen un ritmo más "maduro" y lento.

Actualmente, luego del festival Green Plug en mayo del año 2017, el baterista Kim Min Hyuk decide dejar la banda. Ha expresado su intención de vivir una vida diferente de aquí en más y la decisión fue respetada. Mientras tanto, los miembros seguirán con la banda y los futuros planes.
